Will Vrbinc extend his winning streak to four?

It has been a while since his last fight in the WFC but his convincing victory at Challengers 4 secured Primoz Vrbinc a spot on the WFC 18: Knockout fight card.

23-year old from Slovenia holds a professional record of  6 wins with 2 losses and is currently on a 3 fights winning streak. Will he extend the streak to four? We'll have to wait until WFC 18 and his fight against Gritko from Moldova who has a perfect fight record of 3 wins and 0 losses.

Vrbinc was pleased after his win at the Challengers but has in mind that small mistake that he made during the fight and that nearly cost him. But all ended well, he took the deserved victory and became one of top Slovenian prospects in the WFC.

There was no guarantee that he'll be a part of WFC 18 but it looks like that he was quietly expecting it. ''There were practically no rest after the Challengers since I had to be in top shape in case that I recieve the invite for the big show,'' stated Vrbinc.

''I was hoping that I'll get the shot at WFC 18 but it was not a no-brainer because I had a strong competition. But I have suceeded and now I'm fully focuses to bring my career on a higher level!''

Stayed tuned as we reveal more next week about Vrbinc and his preparations for the WFC 18: Knockout. Follow our website and social pages for the news from the opposite camp as we will introduce to you the WFC newcomer, Gheorghe Gritko.
