WFC Middleweight Rankings
WFC's Middleweight division title will be on the line at the end of the year when the reigning champion, Svetlozar Savov, returns to the ring.
Savov has a perfect 4-0 score in the WFC with three of those wins coming via submission. He's been out of the ring since WFC 17 when he defeated up and coming Serb, Bojan Velickovic. Savov was surprisingly on the ropes against the newcomer but eventually proved to everyone that he deserves the title. Savov won afte ran unanimous decision and retained the title.
In the last couple of months Bor Bratovz positioned himself as the number one contender in the middleweight division. On top of three consecutive wins at WFC 16, 17 and 18 respectfully, he notched up a spectacular KO win in Australia last month. Now it's time for a rematch with Savov, a fight that we all have been waiting for.
No.3 on the list is a returnee in the WFC, Marko ''Lionheart'' Drmonjic. Marko has been out of the WFC since WFC 10 in 2010 and has just recently returned to professional fights. What a return that was! He expressly submitted Claudio Conti from Italy witha guillotine choke.
Bojan Velickovic ranks no.4 in our rankings. Bojan was 6 and 0 prior to his WFC debut against Savov at WFC 17 and proved his worth inside the ring. He's 2-2 since then and had to pull out of WFC 18 due to injury. Hopefully we'll see him soon in the WFC.
Velickovic should have faced Italian Schiavolin at WFC 18: Knockout who also dropped out due to injury. Mattia's debut in the WFC was postponed and will certainly happen in the near future.
