The Gash Doctors took care of the fighters at WFC 18
Simon Haslam and Paul Barton are The Gash Doctors and they are a vital part of WFC for quite some time now. Professional cut man is a must in the world of mixed martial arts and the duo is one of the best in the business. They are confidently, quickly and quietly looking after their fighters making sure they get one more round.
They had their hands full at WFC 18: Knockout as they took care of cuts and swells. Bor Bratovz versus Wawrzyniak fight was one of the more intense ones. Piotr's eye was totally shut at the end of round 2. Top referee Grant Waterman was concerned about the fighters vision and rightly so. The Gash Doctors worked the swelling, reducing and moving it to open the eye. Piotr got to complete the fight but lost eventually via decision.
In the last fight of the evening the duo did it best as they treated Japanese fighter Yoshiyuki Nakanishi who kot knocked down by Aleksandar ''Rodja'' Radosavljevic''. Nakanishi's nose had to be properly treated as it got smashed by the new Light Heavyweight Champion.
The high level of professionalism from the medical team keeps WFC at the top and its fighters assured that they are being looked after by the best in business.
