Slovenian guys Drmonjic and Plavec ready to face-off
Marko ''Lionheart'' Drmonjic and WFC go a long way back. Marko's first encounter in the old ring way back in 2009 when he debuted with a TKO and started his 4-0 run in the promotion. Being known as a guy who never backs down, no matter the opponent, he's been on a bit of downhill in his last outings when faced with higher-ranked opponents. His last two fights were decided by the judges' scorecards and now he's coming into the cage with a vengeance, determined to erase the losing streak and even the score in the win column.
His opponent will be a WFC debutant, a long-time martial artist, Matej Plavec from Slovenia. Matej has just recently returned to professional waters and notched a quick win with a TKO in less than 90 seconds. Plavec, also an Aikido practitioner, dedicated his life to martial arts and just recently made the switch among the professionals.
Fights among the locals have always raised the roof at the WFC events and this time will be surely the same. BRAVE and WFC co-promotion is ready for some serious action come January 19 at Hala Tivoli, Ljubljana. If you still haven't bought the tickets, now is the time.
