Schiavolin: ''I'm ready for big battles!''

Mattia Schiavolin is coming to the WFC as undefeated with 5 wins under his belt. But that can easily change on the 16th June in Krizanke if Mattia won't enter the ring 100% prepared and in form of his life.

28-year old who trains at Shootteam Padova will make his debut apperance in the WFC against young Serbian prospect, Bojan Velickovic. Velickovic had even a tougher debut in the WFC as he fought against reigning middleweight champion Svetlozar Savov with whom he went to the distance and lost after a unanimous decision.

This fight could easily be one to remember as both fighters have their own agenda and are determined to prove themselves.

Schiavolin comes from the new generation of MMA fighters that don't have specific martial arts background and are training all areas of mixed martial arts. "At the beginning of my career I didn't have the intentions to fight but only to train. But as the time passed by I started to enjoy the fighting more and more so I decided to do some submission and amateur mma matches. I had good results and naturally I came to decision to turn pro," stated Schiavolin.

He sees himself as an all-rounded fighter and he's confident in all areas. WFC fans can expect a great fight at WFC 18: Knockout as he faces another complete fighter in the likes of Velickovic.

"I don't want to predict anything! I'll do my best to win and to prove to Mr. Mahic that I'm ready for big battles!"
