OLIMP and WFC: The sky is the limit
Olimp Sport Nutrition, one of Europe's leading supplements companies, and the WFC have a strong and a long lasting cooperation in the last decade. Its partnership goes back to 2011 when Olimp sponsored its first ever WFC mixed martial arts event.
Over the years the relationship strengthened and after this year’s return of the WFC now both companies are stepping together on the new pathway to success. As the event’s main sponsor Olimp is expressing its utmost trust and determination to support the Slovenian-based promotion as well as the sport of mixed martial arts.
In the light of the upcoming WFC 21 - OLIMP: Road to KSW, the director of Olimp Germany Mr. Bernd Czabaun outlined the partnership and company’s decision to support WFC and MMA in general.
″It’s no secret that mixed martial arts are the quickest growing sport in the world at the moment and for us at the Olimp is the same, our strategy is to grow all the time. The emotions and feelings that surround the sport are extremely positive and Olimp wants to be a part of it and add value to the positive vibe that MMA is bringing. On top of that, it’s no secret that my personal love and the connection with the martial arts is as well a bit of a factor.″, Mr. Czabaun illustrated the reason behind the decision to sponsor the next WFC event in Austria.

When we are talking about Olimp and Mr. Czabaun there is a strong link between both and the MMA. The company’s involvement in the mixed martial arts has a rich history that involves names like Royce Gracie, Fedor Emelianenko, Wanderlei Silva, Kimbo Slice and more. ″The respect that you feel in this community is outstanding. But for the company’s Germany representative the MMA is more than just sport. The reason for it lies in the family. ″I dare to say that I know everything that needs to be known about the MMA and I follow the sport all the time. My favorite fighters is Kamila Porczyk. I guess I have no choice since the lady is my wife. But her outstanding spirit, discipline and attitude aspire and motivate me day after day.″
WFC is delighted to have such strong bond with its sponsors that not only support the MMA but also work with us hand in hand promoting it. And as it is today with all the sports and athletes, supplements are a huge part of their training regimes, recovery periods and even everyday life.
