Hallmann To Replace Kosednar
Video
Vaso Bakocevic (11-1-1) will now face Piotr Hallmann (10-1) for the vacant World Freefight Challenge lightweight championship at WFC 17: ‘Olimp Live & Fight.’
The Montenegrin’s previous opponent, Bojan Kosednar (9-6), has been forced to withdraw due to a knee injury which has rendered him unable to compete on October 21st.
New challenger, Hallmann, is a more-than-worthy replacement, entering the fight off the back of six wins, the last of which saw him dispatch of veteran Jarkko Latomaki (18-10) in the first round.
In their combined 21 victories, Bakocevic and Hallmann have only been the distance once, paving the way for an exciting battle at the Hala Tivoli later this month.
This will top a stacked bill featuring three more title bouts, as well as a full undercard complete with Europe’s future stars.
