Foupa-Pokam will reinforce the stacked ADW 2 card
Xavier Foupa-Pokam has fought all over the world and now after his first 50 professional fights, he's coming to Abu Dhabi, firm to claim his 31st career victory.
Born in France on 3 July 1982, he is known for his Muay Thai skills and is ranked as one of MMA’s most experienced middleweights. He has faced some of the top ranked fighters in the world during his career like Martin Kampmann and Paul Daley. He's the current Super Fight League Middleweight Champion and former XFC European Champion.
Foupa-Pokam who holds an 8-2 score in his last ten fights, he has a strong Karate background and later shifted to Muay Thai. He's coached by another UFC veteran, Cyrille Diabate, and the duo has been working together for over 10 years now.
Xavier, who is widely known by his nickname ''Professor X'', will be fighting against a submission specialist from Moldova, Pavel Doroftei. 25-year-old Doroftei, who's on a 6 fight winning streak, will most definitely put on a show against the French contender.
