Battle for Austria: Pfundner vs. Coz
Two old acquaintances are coming back this summer for a lightweight battle in Austria. Michael Pfundner will defend the honour of the home turf while Luka Coz will be chasing his second WFC career win.
Pfundner who’s fighting out of Vienna, Austria, has had a bit of a rough patch in his last few outings and will be looking to bounce back to winning path on August 27 in Bad Vöslau. He’s taken a short time off to regroup and now he’s ready for his return. Pfundner is not someone to be taken lightly and his TKO win over Zecchi (another familiar face in the WFC) a while ago proves it.
Luka Coz is a veteran of the WFC and this will be his 5th fight for the organization. Known for his big heart and determination the Slovenian never backs down and is not afraid to take on bigger and more experienced guys if it comes to that. ″My heart is my most powerful weapon! And I will prove that once more in Austria. I am coming to claim the win,” Coz replied.
Coz is returning to WFC nearly 5 years after his debut appearance at the WFC Challengers. Pfundner will be standing on the other side of the cage determined to claim his first victory in his debut for the organization. Will the home ground give him the edge or will it be a burden for the Austrian? We will find out soon enough.
