AD Warriors - The melting pot
AD Warriors are truly a melting pot of cultures and styles. The event will host fighters from 18 different countries that lie on 4 different continents.
Two young Warriors from Asia will open up the Abu Dhabi Warriors 2 event. 19-year-old Yuan Ye from China is the youngest participant on the second edition of Abu Dhabi Warriors. He turned pro 3 years ago and this Abu Dhabi show will be his first event outside China.
But nevertheless, he’s determined that he’ll end up victorious. ″This is a great opportunity for me to prove myself and my academy to the international fans! I am really happy to be fighting abroad for the first time. I hope my opponent is training hard because I want him to be in the best shape that he can be. I don't want an easy fight!″
His opponent, 27-year-old Yoo Jae-Nam comes from South Korea. Even though he’s quite older than Ye, he’s not much more experienced. Jae-Nam turned pro in 2013 and has notched 2 wins since then. Regarded as the new breed of MMA fighters with no specific martial arts background, he’s working hard every day for the AD Warriors 2 event.
″I train 6 days per week and 5 hours a day. I spar for 2 hours per day and I’m giving my best every day to succeed.″
Both fighters are at the beginning of their careers and are looking for a perfect stepping-stone. Abu Dhabi Warriors will provide just that for one of them as they start the show on March 26 in IPIC Arena.
